About Charity Series of Poker
Established in 2014, the Charity Series of Poker is a non-profit company founded to organize and promote charity poker tournaments and other events that raise money and awareness for worthy charities and causes. We strive to make it easy for poker players and celebrities to give back to their communities and the world in a very tangible way while playing the game we all love.
Our 31 official CSOP events have raised over $2 million for our beneficiary charities.
We are represented by some of the top legal and tax experts in the field of gaming.
The CSOP received the prestigious 2015 American Poker Award as the Charitable Initiative of the Year.
The Charity Series of Poker was originally founded as a grassroots volunteer organization to enable poker players to give back to their communities.
The CSOP’s Board of Directors includes some of the most notable and influential people in poker including Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, and World Poker Tour Executive Tour Director Matt Savage.
Charities we’ve organized events for include St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Raiders Foundation, Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, Folded Flag Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Conine Clubhouse at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Three Square Food Bank, and the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
